You have, no doubt, been having conversations with your friends about how much the arts in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas are growing.

Yes, we have multitudinous events begging for our time and attention. So it seemed obvious to me and several others that we needed a powerful events calendar to help us keep track of all these happenings. And why just the arts? We have many cultural, historical, literary and nature events which involve art too!

So this website was born in late December 2005 with the purpose of providing a powerful events calendar with detailed information and not mere listings. In the future ArtRGV.com it will do even more to keep people who live here on the Texas border with Mexico as well as tourists from other areas informed.
